Camp Facilities
Big Pine Lodge Living Room
An intimate setting is awaiting you here at Big Pine Lodge's living room. Many women's groups, smaller gatherings such as Bible studies, and group discussions have assembled here multiple times. Complete with a fireplace, piano, and kitchenette. Furniture can be moved so tables and chairs can be set up for your gathering. This room can also be used as a childcare facility during a family camp while the parents are in the chapel for a gathering. An outside fenced area is just out the back door.
Camp Bathrooms & Showers
All public restrooms are cleaned and restocked daily.
Camp Office Building
Located next to the main parking lot, the camp's office is the first building you see as you enter the grounds.
Craft Building
Messes are not a problem in this room where hundreds of crafty kids have worked on camp masterpieces over the years. This building is left open in the summer to allow for the ventilation of paint, glue, and other craft supplies. When the summer season is over, the walls go up, the heat goes on and ping pong and Foosball tables are moved in to make this an ideal indoor winter game room. May sit up to 40 guests.
Dining Hall
Mountain air and outdoor activities result in hungry campers and our food service staff is up to the challenge. Guest groups consistently rate our food service "Very Good" or "Excellent" and frequently comment that the variety and quality are better than expected from a camp kitchen. No need to dread this camp food! We strive to accommodate special dietary needs, when given advance notice, and welcome your special requests and menu suggestions.
Our dining hall can seat up to 220 campers and offers delicious and nutritious meals served cafeteria style. When feeding large numbers, we operate additional serving lines for faster service. A microphone and ceiling-mounted speakers are available in the dining hall for meal-time announcements and prayers.
Open 24-7 you may come in for a drink of refreshing water, hot tea, coffee, a PBJ sandwich, or a piece of fruit anytime. You may utilize this space for quiet time in the mornings or game & fellowship time in the evenings.
Eagle Mountain Auditorium
Fondly called "the barn" by some of our long-time guest groups, the New Eagle Mountain Tabernacle (completed in June 2010 to replace the original Eagle Mountain Tabernacle) can comfortably accommodate groups as large as 299. Located in the center of camp, and in close proximity to bathroom facilities, this multi-purpose worship center is suitable for camp meetings, worship services, concerts, movie nights, indoor athletic events, and more. The Eagle Mountain Tabernacle is fully heated in the winter and cool in the summer, making it a comfortable worship or recreation center any time of year.
Ice Cream Parlor
The Ice Cream Parlor is one of Camp Maranatha's two remaining original buildings. The sawmill that previously occupied the property used this building for an office. Decorated with photographs from the camp's history, the Ice Cream Parlor is a great multipurpose building. It is ideal for use as a breakout room or for small groups, meetings, ice cream socials, prayer, etc. A large deck on the side of the Ice Cream Parlor is a great place to relax, breathe in the pine-scented air and visit with friends.
Mt. San Jacinto Chapel
Situated at the north end of the camp, the Mt. San Jacinto Meeting Hall seats a maximum of 100 campers. This building is fully carpeted, heated, and in close proximity to detached bathrooms. Stack-able chairs allow for a wide variety of seating configurations. Take advantage of the great acoustics for your worship band, soloists, or talent show!
Mt. Tahquitz Chapel
The Mt. Tahquitz Chapel seats approximately 60 campers in the handicap accessible second story meeting room.
Oak Lodge Chapel
A spacious chapel on Oak Lodge's upper-level seats 100 and is ideal for gatherings, activities, and worship. This handicap-accessible chapel is equipped with public restrooms on both levels.
Snack Bar
The snack bar is available during our summer season. In addition to a wide variety of snack items, the snack bar also sells T-shirts, sweatshirts, disposable cameras, souvenirs, and other gift items. Our staff will coordinate hours of operation to suit your schedule.
